Civil War Soldier

This is the moument that was set in place on October 15, 2005 by the Sons of Union Veterans, Civil War

on the grave of Clinton Township resident John Beutel. Mr. Beutel was wounded during the war and

returned to Clinton Township where he farmed near Garfield and Canal Road. This is at the lovely

Kukuk Cemetery in Macomb County. The Civil War is known by many names including 1)Civil War, 2)War

Between the States, 3) (in some parts of the South) The War of Northern Aggression 4) The War of

Secession and 5) The War Between the North and South
