On October 23 2014 participants of the SPOOM Conference in Rochester Mi (Society for the Preservation of Old MIlls) visited our historical village. After a presentation about the Clinton and Kalamazoo Canal and local mills they visited Canal Park. Here they are being welcomed by Twp Supervisor Robert Cannon. He explained that if it had not been for the annexation of the twp by neighboring communities, Clinton Township would have been the third largest community in Michigan. It is Michigan's largest township with nearly 100,000 residents.
