This spear point is estimated by an archaeologist to be more than 8000 years old. It was found in a

basement that was being dug in the former Village of Frederick. These things aren't just lying around.

Tons of dirt had to be screened to find it. We are new-comers to the Clinton Township area. People

have lived here for about 10,000 years.
