It is difficult to determine his age here, but he was born Jan. 21, 1891 to (Charles) Carl Wilhelm Kerner and Wilhelmina Lippstreuer Kerner . He lived on a small farm not far from Canal Road and Clinton River Road intersection and eventually owned the corner lot (about 16- 20 acres) on the north west corner of that same intersection.
